1. The Suburbans


It is covering parts of Bangladesh and state of West Bengal of India

This virgin latest invited island of Nijhum Dip rose of the great Meghna delta in the mouth of The Bay of Bengal. The Sunder-bans is the largest of tidal saprophytic or salt avoidance (plants that avoid the effects of high salt even
though they live in a saline environment may be referred to as facilitative
halophytes rather than 'true', or obligatory, saprophytes) mangrove forest in
the world. UNESCO is
declared the World Heritage forest site.

It is covering parts of Bangladesh and state of West Bengal of India

Two-third of the Sundarbans is in Bangladesh
and the remaining is in West Bengal, India. Sundarbans South, East and West are three protected
forests in Bangladesh.
This region is densely covered by mangrove
forests,
and is one of the largest reserves for the Royal
Bengal tigers.

The Bengal Tiger is the most numerous

forests and mangrove swamps and jungles throughout most in the Sundarbans of Bangladesh
and India it is also found in Bhutan and Nepal.

that Royal Bengal Tiger was 16 / 18 feet long. Now days it founds among 8-12
feet. It is most ferocious animal of Asia continent. It lives on flesh mostly
deer, rabbit and other animals.
The Sundarbans is placed in the
best 14 natural wonder but not in seven
natural wonders.
OTHER ANIMALS OF THE SUNDARBANS

Spotted deer: It is a very beautiful animal of the Sundarbans of
Bangladesh. It lives on grass. It gives two babies at time at early winter of
the year.

Chor Kukri
Age: It is an island about
4 hundred years of aged.
Location:
Char Kukri-Mukri Island is in
southern of Charfession Upazila, in Bola district.
Wild Life:
It is an island of wild beast
like fishing cat, egrets, heron, small-clawed Otter, grey pelican and bitterns
etc with guest birds. A list of deer, cows - buffalo, monkeys and various
species of wildlife are roaming the island.
Transport:
You can go up to Barishal by road
or river transport and then go to Bhola by road. There is some ship (Launch)
runs from Dhaka to Bhola. 2.5 hours by road towards the char, then take 1 hour
boat ride on local transport.
Accommodation:
There is some small hotels and guest houses are available here (Bola) but More
plentiful accommodations are available in Barishal.
Some lucky tourist sometimes fined The Royal
Bangle Tiger. There is secure Navy - Communication systems, hotel - motel &
modern tourism. If we can develop this spot, many tourists will come to see its
beauty. Beside this, 2 more island are here named Chor Patella & Dhalchor.
Various species of deer during in winter. Recently, Chor Kukri Mukri is
identified as the world's biodiversity area by the IUCN

main problem is that there is no navigation light and lousier; there are
hundreds of submerged islands.

there. 4. Fatrar Chor, Kuakata

Fatrar chor, Kuakata
Fatrar chor is the nice sightseer place in close proximity to Kuakata beach.
Starting Kuakata traveler may visit the Fatrar Chor. Fatrar Chor is the part of
the Sundarbans forest. Fatrar Chor is also known as Fatrar Bon. As the Fatrar
Chor is the component of Sundarbans so it is a mangrove forest. Fatrar Bon is

5. Ratargul Swamp Forest
Location: Ratargul Swamp Forest is fresh water forest located in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
It is the only swamp forest located in Bangladesh and one of the few freshwater
swamp forests in the world. The forest is naturally preserved under the sector
of Forestry, Government of Bangladesh.
The evergreen forest is situated by the river Goain and linked with the mini Chengir
(Khal) Channel. Most of the trees grow here are Pongamia Pinnate (a kind of tree).
The forest goes under 20-30 feet water at rainy season. Rest of the year the
water level is about 10 feet deep.
Specialty: It is a large forest in
wetland. A plenty of inundated trees are standing here in rows. This forest is
so dense that the sunlight can’t enter into the inner side of the forest
through the leaves to touch the water.
Naming: Many people say that it is the Amazon
of Bangladesh. Locally this forest is called the Sundarbans of Bangladesh. Its real
name is Ratargul.
Wild life: Various wild animals and birds
live here and wander from branch to branch of trees. The snakes of this area
are very beautiful to see but they are poisonous.
Best time: Rainy season (from June to
October) is the best time to visit Ratargul.
6. Rain Forest Lawachara
Lawachara rain forest is one of the major national park/sanctuary/preserve in Bangladesh.
In 1997 Bangladesh
government declared it A National Park. This
forest is made by the British.
Location:
Eight km east from Srimongal town under Kamalganj upazila of Moulavibazar district, near about 1,200 hectares area of the national park Lawachara. It is the most beautiful tropical forest.
Wild life:
At in attendance are dawdling Loris, fox, Pig-tailed Macaque, monkeys, Rhesus
Macaque, Assamese Macaque, Capped Langur, Payer’s Leaf-monkey, Jackal, Wild
Dog, Sloth Bear, Yellow-throated Marten, Tiger, Fishing Cat, Leopard Cat, Wild
Pig, Sambar, Barking Deer, Indian Giant, wile bore and even King
Cobra settle their incidence.
Local elder converse of leopards wandering the jungle, but those have long been
extinct. Birds of different species are found here. Adventure begins in the territory of wild
chicken, squirrel, and python.
Indigenous
inhabitants: Khasia, Manipuri, Tripura
are the main inhabitants of this woods. They have prosperous artistic and
religious heritage.
Homes: It’s also traveler attraction. They make their villages high on hill summit in bottomless
forest and so distant from town.
Best Time to Visit: Middle September to middle
April.
Accommodation: Accommodation services are
copious in Srimongal.
